South Africa's remarkable diversity means it is best discovered with someone who truly knows it from the inside. We each have our own way of telling its story — through words and through images.
I was born in South Africa, a country I know intimately — its landscapes, its rhythms, its hidden gems and its contradictions. After living in France for many years, I built a life that bridges both worlds, and it is from this dual perspective that I design every journey.
My African Routes was born from a simple conviction: that South Africa is best discovered with someone who truly knows it from the inside. Not a brochure. Not an algorithm. A person who has driven those roads, stayed in those lodges, and knows exactly which turning to take.
I am a francophone travel designer specialising exclusively in South Africa. Every itinerary I build is crafted by hand — shaped around who you are, what you want to feel, and the kind of memories you want to bring home.
Born and bred in KwaZulu-Natal, Casey has spent a lifetime immersed in the landscapes, light and wildlife of South Africa. Her photography is the visual language of My African Routes — every image on this site tells a story she has lived.
Casey’s deep knowledge of the natural world, particularly the bush, the coast and the birds of southern Africa, brings a rare authenticity to the content we create together. When she photographs a moment, you feel like you are already there.
Two perspectives, two journeys, one shared conviction: South Africa is best experienced when your trip has been built for you, around your needs, with someone who can guide you in the right direction to put it together.
Every trip begins with a conversation with you, and ends with an itinerary that covers exactly what you want to do.
We work with lodges, guides and partners who share our commitment to the environment and to the communities they operate within.
We are your single point of contact, before, during, and after your journey. You travel with complete peace of mind, knowing we are always there.
